Happy Holidays

Hey all! Sparks here! It's that time of year again. The holidays are here. New Year's is coming up. Hooray!

Oh yeah, and it's also the time of year when I have to tell you about Open Beta. The big news is that Open Beta will start in early 2010.

Yeah, I know. You've been waiting a long time. We all really wanted it to be ready. And believe me, we are itching to open the gateways to let you race on in.

But we decided it was important to take some extra time. We want to sprinkle in some more fun, and put in a few more of your ideas from the Blog.

We also want to make sure that World of Cars was fully stable.

What do we mean by "stable"?

We're expecting a LOT of Players to want to be in the World at the same time. So we have to do some extra work that will make sure the World runs smoothly even if there are tons of Cars logged in.

We think it's worth doing because the World is definitely more fun if there are a ton of Cars in it. It'll be easier to make friends, easier to find partners for multiplayer racing, and it'll feel like you're really part of the action.

When Open Beta arrives, we'll make sure everyone who's in it will get a special in-game Souvenir. You can only get this Souvenir during Open Beta, so it's extra cool and extra exclusive.

In the meantime, I'll still be showing sneak peeks here on the blog. And as always, we'll need your input to help us polish our World.
