POTCO Speed Chat

Speed Chat is another way to communicate in Pirates of the Caribbean Online. It gives some sayings on common things you may say in the game.
Using Speed Chat
 | To open your Speed Chat, you can click on the little skull on the bottom, left corner of your screen. When you have it open, you'll see the menu, as shown on the right. To use Speed Chat, simply click on the word you want to use. If you see an arrow next to the word you want, that means there are more options for saying something similar to that and a sub menu will appear to the right of it. If there is no arrow, you will say the phrase when you click on it. |
EMOTES
 | This menu contains phrases that have an animation attached to them. Your pirate will say the phrases and perform an animation to go along with it. |
GENERAL
 | Miscellaneous emotes. |
EMOTIONS
 | Emotes that convey your feelings. |
EXPRESSIONS
 | This menu contains a variety of phrases to convey to express your feelings. |
GREETINGS
 | Various phrases to greet people. |
GOODBYES
 | Various phrases to say goodbye. |

 | Suggest a place to go in town. |

 | Suggest to go to a place in Port Royal. |

DIRECTIONS
 | This menu contains a variety of phrases used to give directions. |
INSULTS
 | This menu contains a variety of insults acceptable to use in the game. |
COMPLIMENTS
 | This menu contains a variety of compliments. |
CARD GAMES
 | This menu contains a variety of phrases to use in card games. |
POKER
 | This menu contains a variety of phrases to use while playing poker. |
BLACKJACK
 | This menu contains a variety of phrases to use while playing blackjack. |
INVITATIONS
 | If you want to ask somebody to join you in something, there are a few options. If you want someone to join your group or crew, click the sentence "Want to group up?" or "Join my crew?". |
VERSUS
 | If you want to challenge a person in a Pirate vs Pirate game, either Mayhem or Team Battle, use this to say that you want to battle someone. |
HUNTING
 | If you want fight some skeletons or crabs, you can use one of these Speed Chat choices, to say that you want it fight them to other players. |
QUESTS
 | This will vary based on any quests you are working on. It will contain phrases you can use to tell other pirates what you are working on and where to find things. |

Should this page be moved to speed chat?
There's a lot you can do with Speed Chat, including emotes. We haven't talked about speed chat yet, and this page needs more to it then what there currently is. --Haveamagicalday (Talk | Contributions) 20:43, 14 February 2008 (CST)
Page updated with info from http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3688 as it wasn't on any other page we have yet for speed chat or emotes. Guess the question remains the same, do we need this page or should info be moved to another page??? - Batleth
