Pixie Hollow Toolbar
Pixie Hollow Toolbar

Pixie Hollow is a place where players can interact and chat with other Fairies and Sparrow Men. Using the toolbar at the bottom of their gameplay area, Pixies can perform interactive play by sitting or flying and can communicate with their fellow players through preset phrases, dictionary approved text, or emotes.

Players have the option to rest their wings by sitting down anywhere they like in the Hollow. To sit down, just click on the Sit button located on the far left of the chat toolbar. To stop sitting, click anywhere else on the screen or click the Sit button again and up you’ll fly. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to switch directions while sitting.

Chat Levels

There are two different chat levels in Pixie Hollow, SpeedChat and SpeedChat Plus. The chat level can be changed by using the Account Manager and is subject to Parental Control.

SpeedChat

SpeedChat drop down Menu
All players can talk to each other using the SpeedChat option. SpeedChat provides Pixies with a menu of pre-approved phrases for them to say. A few clicks of the mouse is all that is required for players to communicate with SpeedChat. There are many different SpeedChat phrases available to Fairies and Sparrow Men (see Pixie Hollow SpeedChat Phrases) and the option to unlock even more through the Pixie Hollow Clickables Collection.
To use SpeedChat, click on the SpeedChat button on the toolbar: SpeedChat
This will open up the SpeedChat drop down Menu. From here, browse the categories and select what you wish to say.

SpeedChat Plus

With SpeedChat Plus, in addition to being able to use all the normal SpeedChat phrases, players can also type their own phrases with their keyboard. SpeedChat Plus only allows players to use approved words in the game's SpeedChat dictionary. Words not in the dictionary will flash red to let the player know that it is an unapproved word. SpeedChat Plus is filtered, moderated, and under parental control. Parents can choose whether or not they want to allow their child to use SpeedChat Plus using the Account Manager.

Chat Modes
In Pixie Hollow, you can choose to chat publicly with the whole Meadow, to "whisper" to just one Fairy or Sparrow Man or to whisper to all of your friends in your friend list. When publicly chatting, your words will appear in a bubble over your head. In whisper modes, messages will appear in bubbles or in the Chat Log on the bottom left of the screen. To select a chat mode, click on the megaphone and the menu will appear. Then click on the option you wish to use.

When using Public Chat, all SpeedChat Plus players in the Meadow will be able to see what you have to say. SpeedChat only players will be able to see your messages if you use only SpeedChat phrases, all other messages they will not see. Your messages will appear over your head and stay there for a set amount of time. Even if you are flying around the meadow, your message will appear above you as you travel around.
