I'm unclear about the colors. Some items are merged, others are not. If we are merging, why do we need a color column? And based on this Talk: Halloween Mickey Ghost White it looks as though we are NOT merging and using the color column.--Nick hms 01:38, 21 December 2007 (CST)
Right now, the rules for using the color column are a bit confusing. We merge the columns if the item is named something like "COLOR item" or "item color COLOR", but keep them separate if the item is named something like "item COLOR". I would like to find a better way to deal with the color issue in general - perhaps this is something we can discuss as part of this thread. --Prisoner 05:04, 21 December 2007 (CST)
As an example of what Priz is saying... Say there is a yellow crate.
- If the name was Yellow Coffee Table Crate (With the color at the beginning of the name, example), we would merge columns:
colspan="2"|Yellow Coffee Table Crate
- If the name was Coffee Table Crate Color Yellow (Color actually being in the name, example), we would merge columns:
colspan="2"|Coffee Table Crate Color Yellow
- If the name was Coffee Table Crate Yellow (With the name thrown on at the end, example), we would KEEP THE COLUMNS APART:
|Coffee Table Crate |Yellow
Although, I do think the color column is unnecessary- I would remove it IMO. And maybe add a Released/Retired column while we're at it. --Scootz 05:35, 21 December 2007 (CST) (Talk | contribs)
